So you want to do commissions?A basic guide to setting up commissionsSo you want to do commissions? by Hardrockangel
When it comes to commissioning, there is so much that needs to be decided, arranged and thought of that it can all appear a bit daunting at first.
However: when following a couple of basic guidelines, setting up commissions really is not as hard as you think!

First things first
So you have decided you want to start doing commissions. That's great!
The first thing to do is to determine what you want to offer.
Do you want to offer drawings, or designs?
Will you be coding journal-skins for people, or will you be pixeling?
Take a look through your gallery and try to determine what you do best and what you like to do the most.
Because that will most likely be what you'll be offering.
Stick to what you're good at.
Don't promise what you can't deliver when someone is paying you for it.
Now that you've mo
… I know it looks like I have not been my tumblr blog or in deviantart in a long time.
A lot of things have happened recently and every time I wanted to post something, I was or too lazy or to tired to do it. Last year has been a bit of a roller coaster, specially after my parents moving to another continent and being 9000 km away from me, this kinda hit me very hard. I had to deal with lots of ups and downs, it was getting to the the point where I was getting very sick- dealing with medicines and problems I never used to have and this kept me from doing my regular work. Also, I was dealing with a bad breakup over summer, which felt like it was the cherry on top of all. Then October, November and December were just miserable ill months, and I did not to wish any human being around me.
In between of these not so nice events, my old laptop died, and lost some of the digital stuff I’ve been working without saving it on a USB stick (I’m such a genius, I know.). But I’ve learned my lesson- nowadays, everything done digitally is double saved… just in case.
Gladly, everything is getting much better in my life, at least I feel as happy as I normally used to be before all this happened. As I’m slowly getting my life back, I feel that I need to revive this two babies - my tumblr and deviantart account. To those that maybe do not know yet, I have a twitter (katiediazz is my name here) account, which I have been using more regularly than this two, updating it with stuff I’m currently working on.
Uni work is going well, that is the only thing I have been focusing not to fail last year, so I can happily say that I will be Graduating from Fine Arts this July 2015, but before that, I still have to prepare two exhibitions in the next couple of months.
Oh yea, and I applied for a MA in London. Crossing fingers and toes for that! I can’t wait to return to my own project, the Lapislazuli story. I had to stay a way from it because of work and Uni coursework and it has been bugging me for a year now… I can’t wait to start working with this again over summer
I know that there is still a Commission from a long time to put up on deviantart, I’m trying to find it. It is somewhere in one of all this folders… I will look this weekend for it, I have not been able to feel in peace because of it. Apologies for that. As an apology I will give a free request too.
I think this is all for now.
Just please don’t get mad if I disappear in the future for a while again… things get sometimes a bit complicated in my life and affect me in one way or another…
